Centerboard-A pivoting board let down throught the bottom of the hull. Keel- Same Idea as a centerboard but is permentally fastened Draft- The curve in your sail Tell Tales- Two pieces of yarm used to tell if the sail is set correctly Rudder- Used to steer the boat Leeway- The sideways drifting motion of a boat Luff- The forward edge of the sail Running- Sailing on a run with the wind comming from behind the boat Stalling- The turbulent effect on the sail when it is set incorrectly | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
